The hotel is relatively new and has all the facilities you would require including a beautiful pool and a gym. All the reception and kitchen staff throughout my stay was incredibly friendly and the family feel really sets the hotel apart from many chain hotels in Bangkok. I was travelling alone but was made to feel with friends and one night there was live music and a prize raffle for new years which was a lovely opportunity to get to know other guests from all over the world. The rooms are clean and spacious and have small kitchen area should you wish to bring food back or buy from the big market across the road. Breakfast was included and was good food and big portions, always with a plate of fresh fruit and freshly cooked food. Always served with a big smile. You shouldn’t let the location dissuade you from booking. You really get the best of both worlds with a nice quiet place to come back to but easy access to everything you would want to see, particularly if it’s your first time in Bangkok and you are going to the main sites. Being near Thonburi railway station gives you access to great days out at Kanchanaburi and Nakhon Pathom (highly recommended) and you can also get to Wat Paknam and Wat Arun easily. If you want to go across the river and do the sites in Rattankosin such as the grand palace, Wat Pho etc this is also easy, with a ferry crossing at Wang Lang getting you across the river in 2 minutes for 4.5 baht. Wang Lang market is worth a visit and good to walk through on the way to the pier, lots of great food available here and at local prices. I could not recommend this hotel highly enough for those who value service and are looking for a more traditional, local style stay away from the hustle and bustle of Sukhumvit. Many of the guests I met have been coming back for years and it’s easy to understand why. It’s obvious the family put a lot of effort into making this hotel a success.

I arrived late at night, and the location was not what I expected. It was in a small alley, dark and quiet, with nothing around. I was starving, so I bought two packs of frozen rice from the reception, and the staff reheated it for me. However, the next day, my expectations completely changed. It turned out to be a hidden gem. The hotel is situated in a small, quiet alley, which allowed me to get a good night's sleep. When I walked out to the main street, it was bustling with local stalls. The room was clean and quite simple, but it had a pool view. The staff were friendly, and the pool was clean and comfortable. The only downside is that the BTS stations are a bit far from the hotel, but it's easy to catch a local bus or use a bike. I loved the place, and I will definitely go back the next time I visit Bangkok.

A very calm hotel and clean also. Cleaning service everyday. Very beautiful, Nice swimming pool. Warm welcome by Ton on our check in day. He help us anytime needed. Guide us how to go to the places we wanted to go. There was another boy he is tall he also help us when needed, unfortunately forgot his name. All the Staffs were wonderful. Keep it up. Good english. The owner was very kind to us, and seen same with all of the guests of her hotel. She make us feel very comfortable. Wang lang market and Mrt within a walking distance. Pier not too far. We have had a very nice stay. All good recommend this hotel will come again. God bless all of you.

The staff were brilliant with nothing being too much trouble. The hotel is located on the other side of the river from the main tourist area but is very relaxing and the locals are very friendly. It was a 20 minute walk to the boat crossing which cost 4.5 Baht and only took a couple of minutes (Good views from the boat) My partner and I walked to all the main temples as well as Koh San etc. This was my 4th time in Bangkok and most favourite hotel. Good coffee in the morning and reasonable rate to wash and dry clothes (150 Bhat for 15 items) Top tip - Download the Grab App (like Uber) if coming back later as the transfer boat stops.

We stayed in this hotel at the start of a 6-week trip to Thailand and liked it so much we booked it for the end of our trip too. The location is a bit out of the way, but it's in a local Thai neighbourhood that isn't touristy, which we liked. The staff are so helpful, friendly and welcoming. They booked both local and airport transfers for us at a reasonable rate. The pool is lovely and a refreshing way to cool down after a hot day exploring the city. Our room had a fridge and sink so we could eat takeaway while working remotely there too.
